All JG garments should be hand washed or machine washed cold, gentle cycle and hung to dry. Use a mild, environmentally friendly detergent.
If machine washing, turn garments inside out - this reduces friction on the surface of the garment while wet, which helps prevent fading.
Plant dyes can fade in direct sunlight, line dry the organic cotton in the shade.
Linen enjoys a nice water spritz from a spray bottle when ironing on a steam setting, this will soften the linen after wash.
The silk is a-ok to iron too, just use a lower heat setting.
Iron dark colours inside out or you may get some surface shine.
JG fabrics are prewashed by manufacturers but may still contain 2-4% industry-accepted length shrinkage.
Natural fibres contract after a wash and relax from body heat once worn again.
